WHY TRITAC

YOU CAN GET A WORKOUT
ANYWHERE.
COME HERE TO LEARN SOMETHING.

Most people who walk through our door aren’t trying to become professional fighters.

They want to get stronger. They want to learn how to actually use their body. They want a challenge that keeps their attention. Some want to compete. Some want to defend themselves. Some are simply tired of going to a regular gym and doing the same thing over and over. That’s what this place is built around.

01 · THE SKILL

Learn something real.

Boxing. Kickboxing. Wrestling. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Judo. Self-defense. You aren’t just burning calories. You’re learning skills that keep getting deeper the longer you train.

02 · THE BODY

Get strong enough to use it.

Strength training is coached here, not left to chance. You’ll learn how to squat, hinge, push, pull, carry, condition and move better, with programming that matches your body and your goals.

03 · THE COACHING

Know what you’re working on and why.

You shouldn’t have to guess what class to take, what to drill, how hard to go or what to work on next. Our job is to coach that.

Matt Bryers

“Most people don’t need more hype. They need a good coach, a plan that makes sense, and a place they actually want to come back to. That’s what we’ve tried to build here.”

THE PROGRAMS · 11 COACHES · ONE SYSTEM

PICK THE REASON YOU WALKED IN.
WE’LL HELP CONNECT THE REST.

You can come here for one thing and stay with it, or you can train across programs. A lot of our members combine martial arts with strength training. Others focus completely on Jiu-Jitsu, MMA, Judo or self-defense.

There is no requirement to become “a TRITAC person.” Train what fits your goals.

PROG · 01

MMA

STRIKING · WRESTLING · JIU-JITSU · CAGE

Learn the complete fight. Boxing and kickboxing connect to clinch work. Clinch work connects to takedowns. Takedowns connect to control, submissions and getting back to your feet. You do not have to compete to train MMA here.

  • Fundamentals for newer students.
  • Striking, wrestling, cage work and ground fighting.
  • Progressive sparring, not trial by fire.
FORSomeone who wants to understand the whole game instead of training striking and grappling as separate hobbies.

BRAZILIAN JIU-JITSU

GI · NO-GI · 7 DAYS A WEEK

This is real Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Guard. Passing. Sweeps. Escapes. Top control. Submissions. Live rolling. Gi and no-gi training with Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu rank progression. What makes our grappling different is the amount of wrestling, Judo and Japanese Jujitsu we can pull into it.

  • Gi and no-gi training.
  • BJJ rank progression.
  • Wrestling, Judo and Japanese Jujitsu integrated into the curriculum.
FORThe complete beginner who wants legitimate BJJ, or the experienced grappler who wants a deeper stand-up and control game.

SELF-DEFENSE

AWARENESS · FRAMES · STRIKES · WEAPONS

TRITAC Combatives takes the skills we use in striking and grappling and points them at a different problem: getting you and the people you care about out of a bad situation. You’ll train awareness, positioning, framing, striking, clinch work, breakaways, ground survival, weapons awareness and scenario work.

  • Avoid the problem when you can.
  • Create space and control when you can’t.
  • Get up, get out and get safe.
FORThe person who wants practical self-defense without fantasy techniques or fear-based marketing.

04 · STRENGTH & CONDITIONINGTHE ENGINE UNDER EVERYTHING ELSE

Coach-led strength training with a real program.

Whether you train martial arts or not, we’ll help you get stronger, move better and build conditioning that holds up outside the gym.

SEE PROGRAM
IF YOU’VE QUIT A GYM BEFORE

YOU’RE PROBABLY NOT MISSING MOTIVATION. YOU MAY HAVE BEEN MISSING A PLAN.

A lot of our members have joined gyms before. They downloaded programs. Watched videos. Started hard. Missed a week. Lost track. Stopped. That doesn’t make you lazy. Training sticks when you know what you’re doing, somebody notices when you’re doing it wrong, and the next step is clear. That’s the difference coaching makes.

THE METHOD

CLASS IS WHERE WE COACH YOU.
THE HUB HELPS YOU KEEP GOING.

You aren’t expected to remember everything you learned on the mat. TRITAC members can use the Training Hub to review what they’re working on, see drills and breakdowns, and keep their training connected between classes.

DRILL

AT THE GYM OR AT HOME

Get your reps in. Use the mat, a heavy bag, a dummy, a partner or a little space at home. The important part is knowing what to work on.

STUDY

WHEN YOU HAVE TEN MINUTES

Review the technique. Watch the breakdown again. Look at the details you missed. Come back to class with a better question.

TRAIN

ON THE MATS

This is where the skill gets real. Drill with partners. Work with resistance. Spar when you’re ready. Let the coaches see what is actually happening.

ASK

GET COACHING

Something doesn’t make sense? Ask. In class, after class or through the tools available to members. Good training creates questions. We want you asking them.

The Hub supports the work. It doesn’t replace the mat.

BEGINNERS

IF YOU’VE NEVER TRAINED BEFORE,
YOU’RE EXACTLY WHO THIS IS BUILT FOR.

You do not need to get in shape before you come in. You do not need to know how to fight. You do not need to own any gear yet. And you definitely don’t need to prove that you’re tough. We work with beginners every week. We’ll teach you how training works, how to train safely, what the basic positions and movements are, and where to start.

YOUR FIRST DAY · HOW IT WORKS
  1. 01Show up a few minutes early. Comfortable workout clothes are fine for your intro.
  2. 02Meet a coach. We’ll ask what brought you in and what you want from training.
  3. 03Get shown around. Mats, cage, strength floor, changing areas and where your class starts.
  4. 04Learn something. Your first session should feel like training, not a sales appointment.
  5. 05Ask questions. You aren’t expected to know the language yet.
  6. 06Pick your next session. We’ll help you find the right class on the schedule.

QUESTIONS WE HEAR EVERY WEEK
No. Every experienced person on the mat had a first day. We explain the basics and pair new people with partners who know how to work with beginners.

Walked in four years ago with absolutely no experience. Was immediately welcomed in by everyone. Matt is the heart of the place. Ruben’s a hell of a combat coach and Chris kills it at strength training.
