Section 2 · The Network

The people behind the people.

TRITAC did not appear out of nowhere. Matt trained for 25+ years under the senseis and coaches below. Two co-founders helped build the system before there was a logo. Four indirect influencers shaped specific areas: Sambo, Modern Arnis, Kali, BJJ. None of these people teach at TRITAC. All of them are inside it.

BJJ coach to Matt Bryers, Oz Pariser, and Ken Cotrona. Promoted Matt to 3rd dan. Formulated TRITAC's groundwork, escapes, and getups.

Shihan Russ St. Hilaire

Kobukai Jujitsu — coach to Matt, Oz, and Ken

Founder of Kobukai Jujitsu. Menkyo Kaiden, 7th Degree. Matt, Oz, and Ken all trained under him. The lineage TRITAC pulls from on the Japanese-Jujitsu side.

Kyokushin Karate — coach to Matt and Oz

Matt's first martial arts school. Years of full-contact karate training under him in Matt's mid-20s. Also coached Oz Pariser to his Kyokushin black belt.

One of the TRITAC co-founders. Trained privately with Matt for years before TRITAC existed. Defence Lab and Keysi Fighting Method black belt. The energy-development side of the founding team.

One of the TRITAC co-founders. NYPD officer who boxed for the department. Defence Lab and Keysi Fighting Method black belt. Brought live-fire pressure into the early TRITAC training group.

Japanese Jujitsu — lineage, not a TRITAC coach

Runs Zen Budo Jujitsu in New Milford, CT. 30+ years on the mat. Sharp, clean, aggressive technique. Sean Doenias holds his Japanese Jujitsu black belt under him.
