These terms govern your use of tritactrainingcenter.com, the Training Hub, and the gym at 14 Alcap Ridge in Cromwell. They cover any TRITAC program you sign up for. By creating an account, booking a class, or paying a membership, you accept these terms.
Accounts
You must be 18 or older to create an account. Parents or guardians create and manage accounts for youth members. You are responsible for activity on your account. Keep your password private. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access.
Membership and billing
- Memberships are month-to-month unless you prepay for a fixed term. There are no long-term contracts.
- Recurring charges run on the day of the month you started. Card billing is handled by Stripe and PushPress.
- You can pause or cancel from the Hub member portal. Pause and cancellation requests take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
- Multi-month prepay and family pricing are non-refundable past the 21-day window described below.
- We adjust pricing when needed. Active members get 30 days of notice before any price change.
21-day refund guarantee
Sign up for a new TRITAC membership and decide it is not for you within the first 21 calendar days. Email us. We refund the payment in full. This applies once per member. It covers the membership fee only. It does not cover apparel, gear, or third-party program fees.
Code of conduct
TRITAC is a training environment. Members and visitors agree to:
- Treat coaches, staff, and other members with respect.
- Train at an intensity matched to your partner.
- Follow safety instructions from the coach on the mat.
- Tap early and let your partner tap without arguing the position.
- Show up clean, with trimmed nails, and free of open wounds.
- Refrain from filming other members without their consent.
- Stay off the mat under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs.
We can suspend or end membership for conduct that risks the safety or dignity of others. Severe conduct results in immediate removal with no refund.
Assumption of risk and waiver
Martial arts training carries a real risk of bruises, sprains, fractures, concussions, dental injury, joint injury, infection, and in rare cases serious or permanent injury. By training at TRITAC you accept that risk for yourself and any minor you sign up.
You confirm that you are medically cleared to participate. You agree to disclose injuries, conditions, or medications that affect your training. You release TRITAC Training Center LLC, its owners, coaches, staff, and other members from liability for ordinary training risks. This release covers the maximum extent allowed by Connecticut law. It does not cover gross negligence or willful misconduct.
You sign a separate written waiver on enrollment. That waiver controls where it adds detail beyond this section.
Use of the Hub
The Hub is the online side of TRITAC. It hosts videos, drills, flows, quizzes, the schedule, and member-facing content built by our coaches.
- Hub content is for your personal training use. Do not redistribute, republish, sell, or use it to teach paid classes.
- Member-uploaded content (clips, drill videos, comments) remains yours. By posting it inside the Hub you grant TRITAC a license to store, display, and use it inside the Hub and in TRITAC marketing.
- Do not upload content you do not own, do not have rights to, or that violates someone else's privacy.
- Coaches review and curate content. Posts that break these terms get removed.
Intellectual property
The TRITAC name, logo, system, curriculum names, and Hub product belong to TRITAC Training Center LLC. You may reference TRITAC in good faith. You may not use the name, logo, or curriculum to brand your own training. Written permission is required for any commercial use.
Payments, taxes, and chargebacks
You authorize us to charge the card or account on file. This applies to any membership, drop-in, gear, or program you sign up for. Connecticut sales tax applies where required. Chargebacks filed instead of a refund request can result in account suspension while the dispute is open.
Suspension and termination
We can suspend or end your account for non-payment, conduct violations, fraud, or account sharing. We can also act on any use that puts the safety of others at risk. You can close your account from the Hub at any time. On closure, we keep the records that tax, safety, and legal rules require.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Hub and the website are provided as is. We work to keep everything running, accurate, and safe. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We do not guarantee that every piece of content fits every member.
Connecticut law caps the maximum extent of our liability. TRITAC Training Center LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages tied to your use of the site, the Hub, or the gym. Our total liability for any claim tied to these terms is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Connecticut law. Disputes that cannot be resolved informally go to the state or federal courts located in Middlesex County, Connecticut.
Changes to these terms
We update these terms when our products, vendors, or laws change. The Last updated date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes get an email notice to active members. Continued use after the change means you accept the new terms.
